چکیده
The high mutation rates of the chicken coronavirus (IBV) cause economic threats to poultry industry. However, most dangerous situation is likelihood changing its sequences into human (COVID-19-like virus). Therefore, in present study we aimed investigate possibility genetic IBV COVID-19. Thus, Spike (S1) Glycoprotein genes both and COVID-19 were aligned, analyzed calculated predict possible changes that could happen S1. results indicated case an independent function probability each cluster S1 sequences, potential rate be as was equal 1.87E-96. because tendency for some sequence clusters gene low or zero, it unattainable mutate sequence. Furthermore, dependent function, assumed annual make infectious may reach up around 50% after about 260 years. As a conclusion, mutating COVID-19-like virus not impossible, but might take substantial period time

Nucleotide sequence of the gene encoding the spike glycoprotein of human coronavirus HCV 229E.
The gene encoding the spike glycoprotein of the human coronavirus HCV 229E has been cloned and sequenced. This analysis predicts an S polypeptide of 1173 amino acids with an Mr of 128,600. The polypeptide has 30 potential N-glycosylation sites. A number of structural features typical of coronavirus S proteins can be recognized, including a signal sequence, a membrane anchor, heptad repeat struc...
متن کاملIncorporation of Spike and Membrane Glycoproteins into Coronavirus Virions
The envelopes of coronaviruses (CoVs) contain primarily three proteins; the two major glycoproteins spike (S) and membrane (M), and envelope (E), a non-glycosylated protein. Unlike other enveloped viruses, CoVs bud and assemble at the endoplasmic reticulum (ER)-Golgi intermediate compartment (ERGIC). For efficient virion assembly, these proteins must be targeted to the budding site and to inter...
متن کاملIdentification of a receptor-binding domain of the spike glycoprotein of human coronavirus HCoV-229E.
Human coronavirus HCoV-229E uses human aminopeptidase N (hAPN) as its receptor (C. L. Yeager et al., Nature 357:420-422, 1992). To identify the receptor-binding domain of the viral spike glycoprotein (S), we expressed soluble truncated histidine-tagged S glycoproteins by using baculovirus expression vectors. Truncated S proteins purified by nickel affinity chromatography were shown to be glycos...
متن کاملDemyelination determinants map to the spike glycoprotein gene of coronavirus mouse hepatitis virus.
Demyelination is the pathologic hallmark of the human immune-mediated neurologic disease multiple sclerosis, which may be triggered or exacerbated by viral infections. Several experimental animal models have been developed to study the mechanism of virus-induced demyelination, including coronavirus mouse hepatitis virus (MHV) infection in mice. The envelope spike (S) glycoprotein of MHV contain...
متن کاملCleavage of the SARS Coronavirus Spike Glycoprotein by Airway Proteases Enhances Virus Entry into Human Bronchial Epithelial Cells In Vitro
BACKGROUND Entry of enveloped viruses into host cells requires the activation of viral envelope glycoproteins through cleavage by either intracellular or extracellular proteases. In order to gain insight into the molecular basis of protease cleavage and its impact on the efficiency of viral entry, we investigated the susceptibility of a recombinant native full-length S-protein trimer (triSpike)...
